Every other year, starting in 2010 the Wrangell Mountains Center has hosted the International Summer School in Glaciology organized through the University of Alaska Fairbanks. From August 6-16, 34 glaciology graduate students and professors are meeting in McCarthy to share what they are working on. This year people have come from all over the wold including Australia, India, Europe, and North America.
