New Residency Programs

The Wrangell Mountains Center is excited to launch two new residency programs for 2014:

the Meg Hunt Residency

Artists and writers of all genres and stages in their career are encouraged to apply for one of several two-week residencies. The WMC will make selections through a competitive admissions process.

  • Five two week residencies on the following dates: May 26-June 8, June 11-24, July 21-August 3, August 5-19, August 21-September 3
  • Residents will be provided room and board
  • Public outreach component required
  • Apply by March 1, 2014

the ArtSpace Bungalow Residency

Artists and inquiring minds of all genres and skill levels are welcome to reserve this small cabin for a stay of 5-14 days.

  • Available by reservation
  • Resident pays $65/ day for room and board
  • Preference given to Alaskans
  • Public outreach is not required, but is encouraged
