This week we are bringing in Robin from W.I.S.E for a macroinvertebrate program!
This hands-on program is for kids who like mud, bugs, and things that wriggle. We will learn about the unique macroinvertebrates that inhabit our local streams and ponds, and their role in the aquatic ecosystem. Wear your mud boots or sandals and plan on getting dirty
Our Mountain Arts and Sciences for Youth (MASY) programs invite youth (and enthusiastic parents or caregivers) to join artists, naturalists, and scientists for a series of workshops for kids designed to connect them with the natural world around them. We design each session to be educational and fun, including games like Predator Versus Prey where kids learn about the food chain.
